A total of 207 households in 87 villages of Georgia in Adjara, Kakheti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti, Samtskhe-Javakheti, Imereti, Shida Kartli, and Mtskheta Mtianeti received solar panels, as the communities were without electricity, reads the report of the Georgian government.

Under the report, the government constructed a power transmission line and relevant infrastructure to provide two villages with electricity (Khalde and Heshkili) in Mestia Municipality, Svaneti.

The document says that five solar power station issue is being examined at the moment.

As the report reads, the government works to ensure gasification across the country.

Gas pipelines for Tsalenjikha, Chkhorotsku, and Tianet-Khevsureti have already been constructed, and 16,300 people were enabled to join the network.

''The government of Georgia developed a gasification plan for 2019 – 2021. As part of the three-year plan, the Gas Transportation Company of Georgia will provide 295 settled locations with gas, and conduct project-envisaged construction work and will spend 229 mln GEL,'' reads the report.
