In March of 2021, 4 226 visitors arrived in Georgia from Azerbaijan, 90.3 percent less than in March of last year. As for the rest of the neighborhood, 20 237 visitors from Turkey arrived in Georgia, a decrease of 50.8 percent compared to the previous year. The number of visitors from Armenia is 5 656 in March, a decrease of 82.8 percent compared to last year; Georgia received 4 703 visitors from Russia in March, down by 85.7 percent.
Out of the 15 countries from which Georgia received the biggest number of visitors in March, the numbers increased annually only from Uzbekistan, Iran, and Tajikistan.
In the first quarter of 2021, 11 314 people arrived in Georgia from Azerbaijan.
