Adventure tours in the tourism sector are one of the main things that the Russian aviation embargo has not touched. The Adventure Tourism Development Association says that the service users are mainly citizens of developed countries who are interested in Georgian resorts. The only problem the sector has when it comes to adventurous tourists is the shortage of qualified staff.
According to Joni Kapanadze, the Founder of Adventure Tourism Development Association the value of the adventure tours are the most expensive in Georgia. The cost of the service is 1.5 - 2 times higher than the usual tours.
