Another low-budget company called Air Manas decided to start charter flights in Georgia. The low-cost airline based in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, will perform Bishek-Batumi and Batumi-Bishkek flights.
Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava defined this as positive news and a contributory factor to tourism. In her words, Georgia and Kirgistan have never had the opportunity of performing air flights before.
Air Manas is set to start operations in Georgia on 18 June. It plans to perform multiple charter flights once a week before 1 Nov 2021. The company obtained the permit to do so on 17 June.
