“Although we have the right to terminate the agreement with Anaklia Development Consortium today, we will not do this”, Maia Tskitishvili, the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia said.
According to the Minister the Government will give the Consortium time by the end of 2019 to use all resources to seek the financial capital needed to carry out the project. Maia Tskitishvili also noted the fact that the Government has already extended the deadline for the investor to fulfill the obligations five times since August 2017.
