Georgia imported 100% of the aviation oil from Turkmenistan in 2020.
In Jan – Apr 2020, the aviation oil import hit 19,5 thousand tonnes, while Georgia imported most of the aviation oil (75.4%) from Turkmenistan, followed by Turkey, Romania, and Egypt.
The Union of Oil Importers says the decrease is related to the COVID-19-caused suspension of flights.
