Aytan Hajiyeva appointed as head of BP Georgia

Aytan Hajiyeva has been elected head of BP Georgia. A meeting has already been held between the ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and Authority of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Georgia, Faig Guliyev, and the head of BP, Aytan Hajiyeva. Ambassador Guliyev congratulated Hajiyeva on her new appointment. The parties also exchanged their opinions on the existing business environment in Georgia and the investments Azerbaijan's companies have carried out in the country or plan to do so in the future.

At the meeting, Hajiyeva shared information about BP's activities and future plans in Georgia. She said that this year marks the 25th anniversary of BP's activity in Georgia, and currently, the company also encourages the implementation of projects in the field of renewable energy in Georgia and the region. The ambassador emphasized the importance of the citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan holding high positions in large transmitting companies.

Several other citizens of Azerbaijan hold senior positions in BP such as Narmina Nabiyeva, the Vice President of Human Resources for Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey, and Bakhtiyar Aslanbeyli, BP Vice President Middle East, and Caspian, Communications and Advocacy.
