Azerbaijan ranks fourth among Georgia's five major trading partner countries.
An overall share of ten leading trading partner countries in Georgia's total trade turnover reached 70.4% in 2020. The country's largest trading partners are Turkey ($1, 597.5 mln), Russia ($ 1,328.2 mln) and China ($1,185.0 mln).
Last year, Azerbaijan-Georgia's foreign trade turnover equaled $934,472.6 thousand, which amounts to 8.2% of Georgia's total foreign trade turnover.
Out of $934,472.6 thousand trade turnover between the two countries, the export share stands at $441 289.4 thousand and import at $493,183.2, with this implying that Georgia has exported slightly fewer products to Azerbaijan than imported.
According to their trade turnover with Georgia in 2020, Azerbaijan left the US, Armenia, Ukraine, Germany, Bulgaria, and Italy behind.
