A delegation led by the Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister, Co-Chair of the State Commission on Economic, Trade and Humanitarian Affairs between Azerbaijan and Iran Shahin Mustafayev has visited Tehran. During the visit, he met Shahin Mustafayev, Iranian Oil Minister Javad Owji.
The sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of oil and gas between Azerbaijan and Iran. The issue of implementation of the existing agreements in the field of gas was discussed at the meeting, and it was considered expedient to continue the work carried out within this framework.
At the same time, the parties stressed that there is a great potential for deepening cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran in the oil and gas sector.
