In January-June 2020, the volume of imports of carbon steel bars from Azerbaijan to Georgia dropped by 19.4% from an annual point of view.
In the first half of 2020, 12,248.0 tonnes of steel bars were imported from Azerbaijan to Georgia of 5,497.7 thousand USD.
In January-June 2019, Azerbaijan imported 14,614.2 tonnes of steel bars to Georgia of 6,818.5 thousand USD.
The import figures for these products in the first four months of 2020 showed an increase in imports.
Notably, in the first half of 2020, imports of goods from Azerbaijan to Georgia decreased by 16.9% from an annual point of view.
In January-June 2020, tea imports from Azerbaijan to Georgia increased by 10.8% compared to the same period last year, while copper imports jumped by 205.8%.
