Hundred and forty billion cubic meters of gas were extracted from the Shah Deniz gas condensate field from its commissioning until April 1.

During this period, 95 billion cubic meters of gas were exported from the Shah Deniz field.

The operative data of the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan reveals data about the gas field. By April 1, 2021, about 180 billion cubic meters of gas were produced at the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) block of fields located in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea while in the same period, 31 million tons of oil were produced at the Shah Deniz field.

Natural gas produced from the Shah Deniz field in Azerbaijan is transported to Turkey. Natural gas volumes are supplied to the Turkish market via the South Caucasus Pipeline (Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum) and TANAP.
