In January – April 2020, the steel bars import from Azerbaijan to Georgia increased by 29.1%.

Georgia also boasts the increased export of steel bars to Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan imported 9,843.5 tonnes of steel bars of about four mln and half USD, while it imported approximately 7,324.4 tonnes of steel bars in Jan – April 2020.

Steel bars rank sixth among the top ten products imported from Azerbaijan.

Three products show a decrease, namely: oil gases, oil products, and electricity imports, and the car and plant spare parts and copper imports increased.

The steel bars rank tenth among the top ten products exported from Georgia to Azerbaijan in Jan – Apr 2020.

Compared with the same period in 2019, in January-April 2020, the export of steel bars from Georgia to Azerbaijan increased by 55.4%.

In January-April 2020, 4,122.1 tonnes of steel bars of 1.864.1 USD were exported from Georgia to Azerbaijan, while in January – April 2019, 2,487.6 tonnes of steel bars of 1,199.3 USD value were exported from Georgia to Azerbaijan.

Milk products, particularly cream butter, milk fats, and milk pastes rank ninth among the top ten products imported from Georgia to Azerbaijan.

Georgia exported the butter, milk fats, and pastes of 2,160.000 GEL value to Azerbaijan in January – April 2020.

Frozen fish ranks eighth among the ten top products imported from Georgia to Azerbaijan in Jan – Apr 2020.

Georgia exported 902.3 tonnes of frozen fish to Azerbaijan.

The produce of 145 164. 0 USD value was exported to Azerbaijan in Jan – Apr 2020, while the rate was 127 409.5 USD in 2019.

The produce of 221 843. 3 USD value was imported from Azerbaijan to Georgia in Jan – Apr 2020, while in the same period of 2019, Georgia received the produce of 235 796. 1 USD value from Azerbaijan.

The share of the ten largest exporter countries included 78.1% of Georgia's total export rate. In Jan – Apr 2020, the top three are Azerbaijan (145.2 mln USD), China (135.5 mln USD), and Russia (125.6 mln USD).

The share of the ten largest importer countries included 68.9% in the total imports of Georgia. The top three are Turkey (406.0 mln USD), Russia (270.1 mln USD), and Azerbaijan (221.8 mln USD).

The share of the ten largest trade partners included 70.1% in Georgia's total trade. The largest trade partners of Georgia are Turkey (469.3 mln USD), Russia (395.7 mln USD), and Azerbaijan (367.0 mln USD).
