Azerbaijan has reduced oil mining by 7,2%. In January – April 2021, it produced 11,559,2 tonnes of raw oil, including gas condensate.

The Azerbaijani statistical data show that commercial raw oil equals 11,537,8 tonnes out of the 11,559,2 tonnes produced by the country. It means that oil mining dropped by 7,2%, while commercial oil mining decreased by 6,9%.

Azerbaijan reduced the oil exports by 9% in Jan –Apr 2021. In this period, Azerbaijan exported 10,737,848 tonnes of raw oil and oil products produced from bitumen grounds.

In the latest four months, the raw oil export value equaled 4,353,098,000 USD.

This year, the raw oil exported from Azerbaijan dropped by 9,3%, while its cost decreased by 9,7%.

In Jan – Apr 2021, the raw oil share in the Azerbaijan export totaled 68,4%.

In Jan – March 2021, Azerbaijan processed 1,4 million tonnes of oil, as the oil procession dropped by 93,000 tonnes compared to Jan – March 2020.

The total cost of the oil products production equaled 810,3 million manats in Azerbaijan. This rate is 13% less than the 2020 Jan-March rate. In the same period, the country produced 108,000 tonnes of petrol for oil substances, 103,5 thousand tonnes of oil, 8,9 thousand tonnes of black oil, and 64,9 thousand tonnes of oil coke.

The oil substance petrol production increased by 64,9%, oil coke – by 9,3%, while the oil production dropped by 29,4% and black oil – by 67,8%.

Azerbaijan is the largest provider of oil products for Georgia.

In January – March, Azerbaijan supplied Georgia with 43,000 tonnes of oil and its products, valuing 20,1 million USD. This rate is 1,8 thousand times higher than it was in the same period of 2020.
