According to the data published by the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, in January-May of 2021, Azerbaijan exported 12,493.6 tons of nitrogen fertilizer from the country, Azerbaijani media writes.
According to the Customs Department, exports for the first five months of this year amounted to $ 2.203 million, which is $ 5.162 million (3.3 times) and 37,945 tons (4.04 times) less than in the same period last year.
The subsidiary of Azerbaijan Railways, ADY Express Ltd., continues to transport urea produced at the SOCAR urea plant to the world market.
From October 2019 (beginning of urea rail transportation) to June 2021, ADY Express Ltd. transported a total of more than 100,000 tons of urea.
