The hostilities in Karabakh will not affect the fulfillment of the obligations when it comes to Azerbaijan's oil products. The statement came from Emil Majidov, the Advisor to the Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan.
"The Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan project has serious obligations to the partners, which Azerbaijan has been fulfilling for many years and will continue to fulfill. There is no reason to think that this will change," he said.
According to Majidov, Azerbaijan's strategic infrastructure has not been seriously damaged for now, unlike the private and state-owned civil infrastructure.
"Several schools, kindergartens, a courthouse, regional tax, and social services offices got destroyed," Majidov said.
According to him, Armenia's attempts to damage the strategic infrastructure are symbolic and aimed at attracting attention to cause a third country's involvement in the conflict.
