Exports of coke produced in the state-owned Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery have already started in India.
A total of 25 thousand tonnes of coke have been transported from Azerbaijan to India since early-2021, with the last consignment (1,000 tonnes) already been sent. On February, 25 thousand tonnes of coke is planned to be transported.
The АЖД and ADY Express ensure delivery of vehicles; ADY Express ltd of the Azerbaijan Railways CSC transports the freight to the Poti port in Georgia; from the port, the freight is loaded on the vessel and transported to different countries, in this specific case, India.
In November and December of 2020, ADY Express transported a total of 27 thousand tonnes of coke to the Poti port to be sent to China.
