As a report by the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan reads, the number of Azerbaijani visitors to Georgia fell by 27.3.
The number of Azerbaijani citizens traveling abroad in the first quarter of 2021 dropped by 8.4-fold to 111,100 people, Report. az informs, referring to the State Statistical Committee.
Among the citizens, 45.2% traveled to Turkey, 19.7% to Russia, 9.2% to Georgia, 6.9% to Iran, 19% to other countries. Three-quarters of travelers were men, one quarter - women.
In January-March 2021 if compared to the same months of 2020, the number of Azerbaijani tourists in Iran decreased by 41.6, in Georgia by 27.3, in Russia 8.7, and Turkey 1.8.
A total of 67.5% of citizens reached their destinations by air, 25.8% by trains or vehicles, and 6.7% opted for sea.
