Turkish news agency Anadolu reports that amid pandemic, Turkey maintained trade turnover using the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars transport hub with its trade partners.

Anadolu reports that the railway has become one of the critical ways of external trade for Turkey.

The hub gained colossal importance when the pandemic began as Turkey focused on contactless trade operations.

Anadolu Agency reports that Baku-Tbilisi-Kars is an example of another successful phase of cooperation.

Former Transport Minister of Turkey, Akhmed Arslan, says that the BTK railway transferred 138,000 tonnes of cargo at the beginning of March. A total of 77,000 tonnes were imported to Turkey, while the export rate reached 60,000 tonnes.
