As the National Bank of Georgia reports, the bank sector occupies 93.26% on the Georgian financial market. The share of the banks increased last year.
As the experts state, the growth of the bank sector will continue.
Following the data of the National Bank of Georgia, the financial market includes 15 banks, 970 branches, and service centers (with 11 billion authorized capital, assets – 47.2 billion).
There are 48 micro-financial agencies with 204 branches, 844 exchange booths, 17 insurance companies, three pension funds, and stock exchange.
