According to Koba Gvenetadze, the President of the National Bank of Georgia the bank has been collecting information on the results of responsible lending for individuals since January 1 and they already have knowledge on this given subject.
"There will be discussions with both the banking association and representatives of the financial sector and once we decide what has to be done we will make a decision", Gvenetadze explained.
Regarding regulations, one of the most active participants are construction industries. The sector is demanding regulations on mortgage lending.
