Batumi International Airport passenger turnover up by 16%, says Georgian minister

Batumi International Airport proves to be the first in Georgia to transport an increased number of passengers during the mitigated epidemic. The information was released by Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava.

In the minister's words, the number of passengers the airport hosted in January-March exceeded those in 2020 by 16%. This means that the Batumi Airport passenger turnover is 41% closer to that of the first five months of 2019.

In June, the number of airport flights was equal to the exemplary numbers of 2019 (100-105 per week).
