As Azerbaijani media outlets report, 250 tonnes of steel pipes, 100 tonnes of plastic pipes, and 600 tonnes of concrete poles were transferred using the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railroad from Turkey to Azerbaijan via Georgia.

A total of 950 tonnes of a new type of cargo were transported on the highway.

A total of 250 tonnes of steel pipes were put on 26 gondolas, 100 tonnes of plastic pipes were loaded on 11 platforms, while ten open wagons conveyed 600 tonnes of concrete poles.

The cargo reached the destination in three days. The load entered Akhalkalaki from Kars, where wagons' carts were replaced, and the train continued its route to Azerbaijan.

"The transportation of similar goods by the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway will continue. The opportunities created by BTK make transportation of goods more smooth, rapid, and safe," reads information published on ADY Express company's official website.

The ADY Express company transported new types of cargo by the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway.

ADY Express LLC is a subsidiary of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, established in 2016.
