The Business Association of Georgia hails the acceleration of lifting the economic restrictions by the government of Georgia.
The association released a statement saying the rapid and efficient resumption of the economy is of critical importance for the country to regain the growth it boasted before the novel coronavirus pandemic.
''The Georgian Business Association understands the risks as well, but every single day of suspended operation significantly worsens the condition of those employed,'' the official statement reads.
''We fully realize our responsibilities for fulfilling the Health Ministry recommendations to ensure the safety of employees and consumers,'' the statement says.
The Georgian Business Association is in close communication with the business sector, holding consultations with it.
''We communicated with the Georgian government, addressing to revise the schedule of re-operation of business in different economic sectors,'' the statement reads, adding the Business Association praises the Georgian government having declared the business support and economic restoration as the main priorities.
