In Jan - Apr 2020, goods export from Georgia to Turkey dropped by 19%, but in January-April 2020, the export of ferroalloys from Georgia to Turkey increased.
In the reporting period, the export of frozen meat, fish, as well as crustacean powder and granules increased about five times from Georgia to Turkey.
The export of knitted goods and ready-made clothes from Georgia to Turkey decreased.
Reports say passenger car exports from Georgia to Turkey increased by 431%.
In January – April 2019, Georgia exported 14 units of vehicles to Turkey, while in January-April 2020, the figure reached 68.
Besides, during the reporting period, the volume of exports of fats and oils of fish and seafood drastically increased: by 91% compared to Jan-Apr 2019.
Exports of ferrous scrap from Georgia to Turkey dropped by 48.4%
From a financial point of view, imports and exports declined.
In Jan – Apr 2020, products of 63,272.8 USD were exported from Georgia to Turkey, while in Jan – Apr 2019, this indicator was 78 128.0 USD.
In January - April 2020, products of 406,027.9 USD were imported from Turkey to Georgia, while in January-April 2019, this indicator was 452,957.2 USD.
