"In January – April 2020, the number of containers processed in Georgia's ports (Poti/Batumi) equaled 185 655 TEU, and the number is 1.8% higher than it was in Jan – Apr 2019,'' reads a report presented by the Georgian government to the Parliament of Georgia.
Following the report, Poti Port processed 140 089 TEU, being 9.8% less than in the same period of 2019, while Batumi Port handled 45 566 TEU and exceeded the 2019 Jan – Apr period by 68.8%.
As the Georgian government reports, the volume of Kulevi and Supsa terminals included 5,9 mln tonnes in January – April 2020, exceeding the 2019 rate by 8.9%.
