The Business Ombudsman has 17 remarks on the draft law of Georgia on Labor Inspection and 10 remarks on the Georgian Labor Code.
"We believe that the implementation of fundamental changes, such as normalizing the working hours, determination of payment after working overtime, having term labor contract, the termination of the employment contract and giving labor inspection more powers and so on, will have a significant impact on the business environment in Georgia" the Business Ombudsman said.
According to Irakli Lekvinadze, the amendment of the Labor Code in the given form will activate the labor relations which is profitable for both the employee and the employer.
