As the data released by the National Statistics Office of Georgia read, the construction value index has decreased by 4.3% compared to the previous quarter.
As the National Statistics Office of Georgia reports, the index drop was caused by the 16.3% decrease in the annual, monthly nominal salaries of those hired in the construction field.
The construction value index has increased by 5.1% compared to the same quarter of 2019.
The National Statistics Office explains that it was caused by a 9.5% growth of the annual nominal monthly salary of those hired by the construction sector and the 3.3% growth of the prices on construction materials.
