As experts of the economy and finances forecast, despite Georgia remains a green zone, the new Coronavirus outbreak across the world will still affect its economy in the upcoming 4 -6 months.

To avoid the Coronavirus, Georgia has banned imports from China, re-export, and have flights suspended.

Georgia has also suspended flights with Iran. It will harm tourism and reduce incomes from the external trade, specialists say.

Economic expert Vakhtang Charaia says that if the virus is not subject to control in the nearest months, the deficit of income may increase.

According to him, Georgia will fail to receive an expected 100 million USD from tourism if flights remain suspended with China and Iran for even four months.

''We are facing serious problems,'' he says.

The Coronavirus outbreak has claimed 2,663 lives in China. The death toll reached nine in South Korea, and seven people died in Italy.
