The Council of Investors has held a session chaired by Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia.
During the meeting, held online, the council members discussed the council recommendations to encourage investments amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
They also examined the measures for improving the investment environment further.
The meeting participants focused on the support of the capital market, and the reforms implemented and planned in the energy and education sectors.
They had a conversation on the attraction of more foreign investments in agriculture.
Gakharia emphasized the role of the Council of Investors for the development of the private sector.
The attendants stated that the government is working on a long-term economic development plan with local and international experts.
