In April of 2021, the daily oil production in Azerbaijan (including condensate) amounted to 698,000 barrels. According to the Ministry of Energy, 594,000 barrels were crude oil, and 104,000 were condensate.
At the 13th and 14th meetings of the OPEC + Ministers, an agreement was reached on maintaining the current quotas of daily crude oil production in February, March, and April. According to the decisions, Azerbaijan is obliged to maintain daily oil production at 123,000 barrels, while daily crude oil production will remain at 595 thousand barrels.
Under the agreements reached during the 15th and 16th meetings of the OPEC + Ministerial meeting, quotas for the next three months were set for Azerbaijan. The country’s new production commitments stood at 115,000 barrels in March, 108,000 barrels in June, and 98,000 barrels in July. The daily production of crude oil will be 603 thousand barrels in May, 610 thousand barrels in June, and 620 thousand barrels in July.
Daily crude oil production will increase by 8,000 barrels in May, by 7,000 barrels in June, and 10,000 barrels in July.
