The production of Dambal Khatcho, a traditional Georgian meal made of seasoned curd, is becoming more and more popular in Georgia. One of the households' enterprise follows the conventional method to make the meal in Tianeti region, Georgia.

Eka Dojurishvili, a beneficiary of the Produce in Georgia state program, has created her brand and called ''Grandma Marta's Khatcho.''

Eka Dojurishvili manages the family business with her husband.

She wants to expand the product range, though the state funds helped her a lot.

According to Eka Dojurishvili, she plans to export the product to the EU, but, before the European Union, she will try to transport the goods to the Persian Gulf and CIS countries.

She says that four sisters are involved in the business, and their mother is the chef.

''We follow the technology our ancestors taught us,'' Eka Dojurishvili stated, adding she is proud of the production of an ecologically pure product of high quality.

The Cultural Heritage Agency of Georgia put the technology for making Dambal Khatcho on the cultural heritage list in 2014.
