In January-June of 2021, 505 million kilowatt-hours of electricity were imported from Azerbaijan to Georgia.
According to a report prepared by ESCO, this figure is 21.4% higher than the same period last year.
In total, 1,706.1 million kilowatt-hours of electricity were imported to Georgia during the reporting period, of which 29.6% came from Azerbaijan.
During the reporting period, Georgia imported 1,039.9 million kilowatt-hours of electricity from Russia and 48.2 million kilowatt-hours of electricity from Turkey.
