The Ministry of Economy has approved the first and second stages of the enlarged program for micro and small entrepreneurship.
As the 'Produce in Georgia' program reports, the first phase will begin on June 1.
The applicants should present their ideas to the agency, while the winner will become known until June 31.
The following phases include business plans and evaluations by beneficiaries. The approved projects will receive sponsorship on September 7 – 30.
The anti-crisis plan of the government plans to increase the small entrepreneurship facilitation program budget by 30 mln GEL in 2020.
As Georgian Economic Minister Natia Turnava said, at least 5,000 Georgian households will enjoy the upgraded program of micro-grants.
Female entrepreneurs, people with specific disabilities, and other vulnerable groups will be a priority.
