The European Union Ambassador to Georgia Carl Hartzell spoke about current and planned projects at the ''Georgia and Business 2020'' economic conference.
International financial organizations are carrying out the projects mentioned above.
''We work in the financing field, carrying out projects with the European Investment Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and other financial organizations. We want to be sure that there are opportunities which will support the entrepreneurs and businessmen who try to expand their businesses,'' Hartzell said.
The EU Ambassador focused on projects in different sectors.
''We are carrying out a whole set of projects. We try to stimulate the agriculture, food production, micro or larger enterprises that want to develop more in terms of the research and innovations,'' he said.
Hurtzel highlighted the prospects of the development of different sector clusters in Georgia.
''We have conducted a study and believe that the clusterization of average and small business will support [Georgia's] entry in the European market,'' Hartzell said.
