The price of February gas futures was $ 970 per thousand cubic meters at the opening of trading at the TTF hub in the Netherlands. Gas prices are already showing unstable dynamics for the second day, moving from growth to decline.
Gas prices continue to adjust after reaching an all-time high of $ 2190.4 at the end of December. The decrease in price may be related to the additional supply of LNG from the US to Europe and an increase in electricity generation at European wind farms.
