Gas prices have risen in Tbilisi; the decision was made by the Energy and Water Supply Commission today, on May 27.
Citizens will have to pay the renewed fee from June 1.
Until now, the price of 1 cubic meter of gas was 46.1 tetri, and from June 1, the price will increase by 7.8 tetri to 54 tetri.
As it became known at the commission meeting, the company's loss due to the GEL exchange rate from October 1, 2019, to May 31, 2021, is more than GEL 20 million. The new tariff will be in force until January 1, 2023.
