In the first quarter of 2021, Georgia-Azerbaijan's trade turnover stood at $250.3 mln, which is 18.2% less than that of the first quarter of 2020. As the data from the National Statistics Office have it, Azerbaijan ranks third after China and Russia on the list of Georgia's exporters. In January-March 2021, Azerbaijan exported $104.6 mln products.
Azerbaijan ranks ninth among Georgia's top exporting countries in local exports. A total of $18.9 mln Georgian products have been sold in Azerbaijan in 2021, which accounts for 3.1% of total three-month exports.
In the first three months of 2021, exports from Georgia have seen a 16.4% rise if compared to those of January and March of 2020.
