In January-March 2021, Georgia imported 180.6 tons of tea from Azerbaijan worth $1,109 mln. 

Georgia saw an annual increase of nine tons (5.2%) in Azerbaijani tea exports, according to the National Statistics Office of Georgia. In January-March 2021, Georgia exported 75.4 tons of tea worth $522,2 thousand.

Azerbaijan is among Georgia's leading trade partners, the updated National Statistics Office of Georgia data show. Per these data, in January-March of 2021, commodity turnover in Georgia, undeclared goods not included, amounted to USD 2,773.2 mln which is 0.3 percent less than that of the last year. Georgia exported most of its products to China, Russia, and Azerbaijan in the first three months of 2021. 

In January and March 2021, the share of ten top trade partners in Georgia's total trade turnover accounted for 72.2 percent. The country's leading trade partners are Turkey (USD 419.0 mln), Russia (USD 329.8 mln), and China (292.6 mln USD).
