Following the data of JSC ESCO, Georgia imported 726.3 mln kWh electricity from Azerbaijan last year.
As the data have it, in 2020, Azerbaijan's electricity imports decreased in Georgia by 34%.
Last year, Georgia imported a total of 1.610.1 kWh electricity, out of which 45.1% was imported from Azerbaijan.
The ESCO report says that transit volumes of electricity from Azerbaijan to Turkey via Georgia totaled 101.8 mln kWh, which is 25.2% less than those of 2019.
