In Jan- Apr 2020, products of 125,602.0 USD were exported from Georgia to Russia, while in January-April 2019, the rate equaled 177.606.0 USD.
Exports of four out of the top ten products from Georgia to Russia decreased.
In January-April 2020, the export of ferroalloys from Georgia to Russia declined by 27.8%.
Georgian wine export decreased by 18.9%, and the export of mineral waters - by 20.4%.
Exports of medicines from Georgia to Russia dropped by 75%.
In Jan - Apr 2020, vegetable export increased by 1.7% from Georgia to Russia, and citrus export increased by 85.4%.
The exports of electric heaters increased by 64.5%.
In January-April 2020, Georgia exported 806 cars to Russia. The number is 80.7% more than that of Jan – Apr 2019 (428).
Unlike exports, in January-April 2020, import of goods from Russia to Georgia increased and totaled 270,125.3 USD, while in January-April 2019, this rate was 269,353.9 USD.
