According to the National Statistics Office of Georgia, in January-August 2020, Georgia exported $ 284.3 million to Azerbaijan in 8 months, which is 11.9% less than the previous year. Last year, Georgia exported 322 644 products worth $ 3 000 to Azerbaijan.
With a share of 10.4 percent in total exports, Azerbaijan ranks second in Georgia's top ten exporting countries. China is ahead only by 14.3%.

In January-August 2020, the foreign trade turnover of goods in Georgia (excluding undeclared trade) amounted to $ 7 022.8 million, which is 16.7 percent less than the previous year. Out of this, export is $ 2 071.4 million (down by 14.7 percent), while imports amounted to $ 4,951.4 million (17.5 percent less). Georgia's negative trade balance in January-August 2020 amounted to $ 2 880.0 million, which is 41.0 percent of foreign trade turnover.
