In August 2020, 3,757 Azerbaijani visitors visited Georgia, which is 98% less than in the same period last year, the August report of the Georgian National Tourism Administration reads.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan ranks fifth in terms of the number of visitors after Turkey, Armenia, and Russia.

2. Armenia - 8,721 visitors (-95.5%)
3. Georgia (non-residents) - 4,722 visitors (-91.2%)
4. Russia - 4 390 visitors (-97.9%)
5. Azerbaijan - 3,757 visitors (-98.3%)
6. Ukraine - 996 visitors (-96.5%)
7. Republic of Belarus - 852 visitors (-93.8%)
8. Uzbekistan - 829 visitors (-54.1%)
9. Kazakhstan - 472 visitors (-97.1%)
10. Germany - 430 visitors (-96.6%)
The total number of international visitors of Georgia in August 2020 was 43,658, which is 96% less than in the same period in 2019.
In 2020, Georgia and Azerbaijan planned to jointly develop a travel package that both sides could offer to third countries.
However, due to the coronavirus, the planned cooperation was postponed for an indefinite term.
