Following the National Statistics Office of Georgia, in May 2020, vegetables of $6.1 thousand were exported from Georgia to Azerbaijan.
The office reports that the rate is $3.8 thousand more than in April 2020.
In 2020, Georgia exported vegetables and edible root crops of 177.9 thousand USD to Azerbaijan.
In March, these products were carried out by air, while in the rest months the goods were transferred by road.
In January - May 2020, the highest rate of export of these products from Georgia to Azerbaijan was detected in March, equalling 62.5 thousand USD.
The June data have not yet been available.
As for the import of vegetables from Azerbaijan to Georgia, in January, the export reached 144.7 thousand USD, in March - 22.1 thousand USD, in April - 194 thousand USD and in May - 762.3 thousand USD.
Azerbaijan did not import any vegetables to Georgia in February 2020.
