As Georgian Minister of Economy Natia Turnava stated after the meeting of the economic coordination team at the government administration today, Georgian companies will start sewing face masks from tomorrow.
In her words, about ten enterprises will engage in the program with several companies that supply raw materials.
''We have sufficient supply to produce first batches. The government will purchase the first volume of the face masks and create the necessary supply we will further distribute to the contingent and people who most need the masks,'' Turnava said.
According to Natia Turnava, the Georgia-produced face masks will not be disposable, but – reusable.
