Aleksandre Motserelia, Governor of the Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti region of Georgia, has made a statement on the operation of agrarian markets.
Motserelia says the government issued several warnings to the people on how to behave in the agrarian markets, but they do not follow the social distancing and other recommendations.
Motserelia says that if the markets still reject the recommendations, the government will close them down.
''Unfortunately, the people do not follow the hygiene norms and recommendations on social distancing in the agrarian market,'' he said, adding ''it is total irresponsibility.''
