''We have done our best to stimulate foreign direct investments,'' Georgian PM Giorgi Gakharia says, adding the Poti port reconstruction project is an example.
In his words, the reconstruction process will begin shortly.
Gakharia says the ports with modern infrastructure are of utmost significance for the country.
''The US Foundation carries out direct investments [in the port], and 30 mln USD has already been transferred. The project value reaches 93 mln UNS. The work will begin in the nearest days,'' he said.
In Gakharia's words, Georgia should do everything to ensure marine and port infrastructure to develop in Georgia.
He added that the government-funded systemic infrastructure projects had not been suspended.
