Under the data of the National Statistics Office of Georgia, in the first quarter of 2020, Georgia exported vegetables and edible root crops in the amount of $166.5 thousand to Azerbaijan.
In the first quarter of 2019, Georgia exported the vegetables and edible root crops in the amount of $409.7 thousand.
The export decreased due to the restrictions and crises of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
Most of the vegetables were transferred via trucks from Georgia to Azerbaijan, while a small volume was transported via airplane.
