As the National Statistics Office of Georgia reports, in January-August 2020, Georgia's foreign trade turnover (excluding undeclared trade) equaled 7,022.8 million USD, 16.7% less than in the same period 2019.
2 071.4 million USD (14.7% less) accounted for exports, while 4 951.4 million USD (17.5% less) accounted for imports.
In January-August 2020, Georgia's negative trade balance amounted to 2,880.0 million USD.
It is 41.0% of the total foreign trade turnover.
