The average weighted rate included 3.4563.
The National Bank of Georgia carried out the monetary intervention for the third time, as national currency Lari hit a record rate of depreciation for the last days.
It provides the internal currency market with USD to reduce the excessive amount of Lari that will result in the GEL exchange rate stabilization.
At the moment, one USD costs 3.4900 GEL on Bloomberg.
