Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Georgia Solomon Pavliashvili visited Marneuli Municipality today.
He discussed the issues of logistics over the transportation/sales of early potatoes harvested in the region.
The municipality employees engaged in the discussion.
As the Agriculture Ministry of Georgia reports, this year of 2020 distinguishes by an abundant harvest of potatoes. Farmers expect to have 30-40 thousand tonnes of the potato harvest.
In Pavliashvili's words, farmers will have no problems regarding the sale of the harvest.
Head of the National Food Agency Zurab Chekurashvili and Governor of Kvemo Kartli Shota Rekhviashvili attended the discussion.
